Drybrook’s second trial match went very well with the home team looking sharp and hungry for the ball throughout. Despite missing a few of their regular line up Drybrook performed well and look to have more strength in depth than they have done for some time.  Over 30 players performed for Drybrook but with Old Boys operating a smaller squad the home side’s continuity suffered at times

A number of Drybrook players caught the eye in particular back row men John Duffin, Craig Moore and Peter Meek whilst out behind scrum half Carl Moore and centre Leon Meek were at the top of their games.  Player coach Julian Horrobin also got involved in a couple of the sessions bringing his considerable presence to bear on the game.

Drybrook scored six tries from Steve Skelton, Dave Payne, Dale Critchley, Carl Moore, Greg Kiernan and Danny Griffiths with Tad Chapman adding 2 conversions.
