19th November - Drybrook girls u14s   63       Cirencester girls u14s     14

Drybrook welcomed Cirencester girls for the first time with both under 14s and 17s teams playing earning good wins.  Drybrooks 14s set the standard with a fine win played in very wet conditions.  With Drybrook fielding a large squad several changes were made throughout the game, but this did not disrupt the team cohesion. Rosie Morse had an outstanding game running in six tries and kicking one conversion. Chloe Moore also rounded off a good game with three tries and three conversions, Jaz Bowdler rounded off the points tally with a try .

Drybrook girls older age group also put in a good display of rugby, with several girls scoring the points. With good support play and great handling tries were earned through great team play. Try scorers were Jess Hunt with two, Laura Simmonds, Louise Morton, Cathy Williams and Lauren Graham who kicked three conversions.


12th November - Drybrook girls under 14s  25    Yatton Girls under 14s  53

Drybrooks girls teams travelled to Yatton, with their under 14s fielding players who have not played before. The Girls showed great determination and put up a good show with tries being scored by Rosie Morse and Hayley Jones, with Chloe Moore claiming a hat trick. Player of the match which was the referees choice went to Rosie Morse.

Drybrook were subdued in the first half and found themselves 20-5 down at half time.

In the second half drybrook upped their game and showed true grit earning a well earned draw. Try scorers were Natalie Hughes, Jess Hunt with two and Cathy Williams also with two. Player of the match was Lauren Graham.
